Spend a weekend, or just the day, with like-minded homesteading folks at this homestead conference in beautiful northern lower Michigan to learn homesteading skills, talk around the campfire, and share good food. Participate in workshops designed to help you gain self-sufficiency and independence by learning about homesteading skills for the beginner through advanced homestead farmer.
Day one includes workshops taught by experienced farmers and homesteaders. We'll enjoy a potluck lunch. There are structured activities for the kids. You're welcome to stay for dinner and a campfire (family friendly) at the end of the day. Camping is available on farm Friday and/or Saturday night.
Day two will be a skill share day! We're not sure exactly how it'll look yet, but popular demand has been heard. Stay tuned for more information.
